This osk.exe program has a special behavior. I don't know if it can help but here is my experience. I have a client who wants to use my program Remote Executer to open the OSK.EXE on the local machine (Windows RT I think) from a remote session. Remote Executer is a command line program on the RDS server that sends the command from the server to client side and executes that command as you type it on the local machine.
However, for something unknown, the osk.exe could not be launched that way. Finally I have found a work around which is putting the command osk.exe in a.BAT file and run the.BAT file instead of launching direct OSK.EXE, and it works for my customer. I'm running the application with domain user permissions by clicking on start en type OSK OS is updated and no other applications are running.
