I created a virtual PC; sandboxed it; installed WinXP 32bit; stripped out IE5 (uninstall, delete folder, cleared registry); downloaded IE7, MGI, ThinApp; Implimented DeepFreeze; Started ThinApp; installed IE7, do NOT do the internet upgrades; Installed MGI, patches, upgrades and configured it; Finished ThinApp using USB portable executable settings; Included viewers and cleaner tools; Tada! No tinkering with IE10 needed; No having to install old IE; No installer at all.

Windows 7 is very similar to W98, WXP and W7. W8 is far removed from these familiar operating systems and people are pulling their hair out about. Great news MGI-4 users!! I just installed the preview version of IE11. I restarted the computer in Safe Mode after it was installed and put my MGI-4 disk into the CD/DVD ROM. After it installed and I restarted the computer, MGI-4 works just fine!! So now we know it was a glitch in IE10's compatibility but NOT in IE11. I think I am the first to post this information on the Internet and I hope you all enjoy the incredible speed of IE11 as well.
