This is a list of noteworthy gaming conventions from around the world. Tokyo Game Show – Tokyo in September; New Zealand. Armageddon – Auckland.

• New Monster Hunter World gameplay and release date announced • Left Alive from veteran Metal Gear and Gundam developers teased • Gungrave announced for PSVR • Zone of the Enders remake coming to PS4 with PSVR support • Final Fantasy 9 released for PS4 in Japan Sony Interactive Entertainment has outlined many of the upcoming and titles at its pre-Tokyo Game Show 2017 press conference. The show naturally focussed on the company's Japanese-developed titles, showing off Capcom's Monster Hunter World, the Shadow of the Colossus remake and a host of PSVR titles. The show was a steady stream of trailers, both new and old. Even appeared with a Japanese dubbed trailer. While TGS isn't usually known for its big announcements, there was plenty to chew on for fans of Japanese development.

One of the juiciest bits of news for Western fans will undoubtedly be the release date for Monster Hunter World, scheduled in for 26 January 2018. There was also a date for the sequel to Namco Bandai and Studio Ghibli's collaboration Ni No Kuni. Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom will release on 19 January 2018. It was announced the previously PC-port of Final Fantasy 9 would be coming to PS4, immediately available to download on the Japanese PlayStation store. It was unclear whether this would apply to a Western audience, but with the localisation already done on the PC version you would be hopeful. Square Enix also teased the announcement of Left Alive, a 'survival action shooter' seemingly taking place in a ravaged city. We don't have much else to go on, but it is being developed by a team of Armored Cores' Toshifumi Nabeshima, Metal Gear's Yoji Shinkawa and veteran mech designer Takayuki Yanase.

So we are going to take a guess at explosive giant robot action.

I'm curious about which gaming conventions are the biggest in Japan. Also, has anyone had any experience running a booth at one of these? Whats the cost? Major difficulties? A friend and I have recently finished a game named Hexica and are just about to Kickstart it. Pending a successful endeavor, we are considering the possibility of going to one of these conventions.

It would be very practical since I spend a lot of time on the East coast of China and its really cheap to fly over to Japan or take a 24 hour ferry. Further, the factory we're planning on using is in the same area. Language wouldn't be a problem as I can speak, read, and write Japanese. If anyone can point me in the right direction as to where to start looking I'd be much obliged. Hehe, I'm also playtesting one of my games, that I wanted to sell at the Game Market, but it's language dependant, so I'll see if I can get it translated if not, I have some 2nd hand games to sell Yannis helped us organize a table last year, and it was awesome.

This year's game market was hugeeee. There were a LOT more individual designers selling their own games, and there was a lot more space to move also. But I think Nov will be even bigger, because Essen is probably just before. So I expect a few companies to be bringing in lots of Essen games like they did last year That's how I got Coup bargain!!

As long as your games have Japanese rules, then people will snap it up. If it doesn't have Japanese rules, and you can demo it then it'll be fine. This year's game market was hugeeee. Thanks for the info! I better start translating the rules then. I cant tell you for sure yet, because it depends on the size of the booth we apply for. They seem to have bumped the prices up since last time we applied.

Ideally I would like to get one of the big booths with 2 event tables for games and play testing. Unfortunately they ask 47250 yen for that now, when it used to be 29400.

I guess the organizers try to promote board games in Japan in the best way that suits their interests not the hobby. Worst case scenario we apply for 2 small booths and ask to have them next to each other.

A small booth with 1 event table is @ 10500 yen now. This is just an idea about what we are up against. When the time comes for logistics, I think its better to do it over Geek Mails.

I have a few ideas in mind about how we could cover part of the booths cost, but that is classified information. Just for an idea of the small booths.it was mega mega crowded in the middle, so I basically skipped all the middle booths, and went to the outside 'middle booths'.

The small booths are really really small, and tightly packed, it was a lot different to last year's one. If we get a booth, we want to be on the outer side of the middle. This is just an example of what the layout looked like. T = small tables BIG = big tables The small tables had a 6 player demo table in front of it. The big stalls/tables?

Had 2 big 6 player tables. The best spots for the small booths are in the other corners (I've marked those 't's as bold) [BIG] [BIG] [BIG] [BIG] [BIG] [BIG] [BIG] [t][t][t][t][t][t][t][t] [t][t][t][t][t][t][t][t] [t][t][t][t][t][t][t][t] [t][t][t][t][t][t][t][t] [BIG] (the packed section) (the packed section) [BIG] [t][t][t][t][t][t][t][t] [t][t][t][t][t][t][t] [t] [t][t][t][t][t][t][t][t] [t][t][t][t][t][t][t] [t] [BIG] [BIG] [BIG] [DOOR} [BIG] [BAZAAR/AUCTION] The big booths are pretty big, but you'll need lots of banners, or volunteers to help draw in the crowd. If we go big, and Happy Baobab is around again, choose a booth near them hehe. If we go for a small booth, and can get 2, don't put it right next to to popular booths, because those lines will overwhelm and hide your booth. I think the booths cost more than the previous years, because of the cost of the convention hall. Download Video Lagu Korea Gratis on this page. That convention hall is mega expensive, and it's huge, and pretty new also.

But not sure if they just assign the numbers at random, or you can choose.? I am consistently amazed by the denizens of BGG. You guys are by far the nicest people on the inter-web. That is an incredibly comprehensive post, complete with a diagram no less! Further you can really tell you guys are vets of this convention scene.

We just got word back today from Kickstarter that we are ok to start our project for Hexica. I am quite interested in doing a Japan game convention, however it really depends on if we're successfully funded or not. Telecharger Arrow Saison 1 Episode 17 Vostfr Serie more.

When would you need to have our decision and money?
